After-Hours Care (5.30pm to 8.30am) and Home Visits
UFS Medical, as part of the Ballarat After-Hours Consortium, provides after-hours care for patients. For after-hours care, please phone your UFS Medical practice and follow the instructions for the after-hours on-call doctor. The doctors of UFS Medical can also provide home visits if required, please contact our reception staff for further information.
Recall & Reminder System
UFS Medical has a recall and reminder system in place for all patients requiring follow up appointments for immunisations, Pap smears, health assessments and care plans. Please advise your Doctor if you do not wish to be included in this service.
SMS Appointment Reminder System
UFS Medical operates an SMS appointment reminder system. Patients receive a reminder SMS (text message) the afternoon prior to a scheduled appointment. If you do not wish to be included in this service, please advise our Reception Staff.
The prompt not only works as a reminder, but also allows you to simply cancel an appointment with 24 hours notice.
