The COVID-19 testing clinic in Ballarat is operated by UFS Medical at the Lucas Community Hub and is open seven days a week, with appointments available between 8am and 8pm on weekdays and from 9am – 3pm on weekends. Testing is free for patients.
Essential workers* and patients with a letter from the Department of Health advising the need to be tested, can be prioritised for testing – if you fall into these categories, please call 03 4311 1571 to book an appointment rather than booking online.

The purpose of the respiratory clinic is to assess, test and diagnose mild-to-moderate respiratory conditions, including COVID-19, influenza and pneumonia. Please note that saliva testing is not offered, as the accuracy of these tests is not as reliable as the swab method. As all patients being tested at this clinic are showing symptoms, it is important that tests are as accurate as possible.

As of 18 July, 2020, a second testing clinic in Ballarat is also available, which is operated by Ballarat Community Health and located in Central Ballarat. Testing is available for people with symptoms of respiratory illness. Phone bookings are necessary – please call 1800 054 172 to book.
