Dr Sherin Akter has been part of Ballarat community for last four years and is passionate about caring for patients of all ages . She has extensive experience in hospitals across Australia and overseas and is now pursuing her GP fellowship.
Dr Akter’s special interests include cardiovascular disease , chronic disease management , women’s health , children’s health , aged care, mental health, weight loss management & minor procedures. Outside of work Dr Sherin enjoys exploring new places , spending time with her family and looking after her two cats.
